Liturgical Espresso

A series of meetings held on the third Monday of each month of the academic year at the Dominican friary in Kraków.

“Liturgical Espresso” is a series of meetings held on the third Monday of each month of the academic year at the Dominican friary in Kraków.

The liturgy will be discussed by the fathers of the Dominican Liturgical Center, which organizes the series. The catecheses are addressed not only to those advanced in religious and theological knowledge, but also to those for whom the word liturgy means little but who would like to broaden their knowledge.

After the very popular “Domestic Liturgy” meetings, the Dominican Liturgical Center would like to offer a series of monthly meetings about the liturgy in a light and accessible form. For the liturgy is not only a subject for specialists, theologians or those who know Latin or the traditions of the Church. In the Church, the liturgy is for everyone. We want to give a chance to those who cannot afford such a luxury but want to nourish and deepen their spiritual life.

“Liturgical Espresso” is meant to combine the strong flavour of the content with a short form (like the small volume of an espresso) and the informal character of the discussion (like a meeting over coffee).

The topic of each meeting will be announced a week in advance. Participants can send any questions that come to mind through our website. We will let you know later about any rebroadcast or publication of the content of the meetings.

The meetings will be hosted by Anna Kluz-Łoś of Radio Kraków, whose task will be to question the guests.
